Job Summary We are seeking a Patient Services Manager to join our Patient Services Team in White Plains, NY at Burke Rehab Hospital. Key Responsibilities:
- Supports implementation of patient food service needs based on medical direction and patient population
- Assists with hiring, training, and onboarding of patient service team members
- Follows dietary restrictions for special or modified diets to ensure patient preferences align with diet order limitations
- Provides excellent customer service to help achieve patient satisfaction goals
- Maintains compliance with regulatory standards, including HIPAA and patient rights policies
- Participates in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide quality programs
- Supports within Retail and Catering departments
- Associate degree in food services or related field OR bachelor's degree in food service technology/management or related field
- ServSafe certification, preferred
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn electronic medical record and diet office systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Certified Dietary Manager certificate, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian, a plus but not required
