We will deliver excellent value to all of our stakeholders.  What you’ll be working on Production Scheduler & Purchaser schedules all production at the plant to ensure customer orders are met. Performs raw material purchasing duties including ordering raw materials for production using Lean principles, ensuring FIFO rotation of raw materials, receiving all raw materials and correcting inventory discrepancy issues. Facilitates continuous improvement efforts in regard to raw materials. Participates in yearly inventory process. Liaison with Customer Service and the plant. 

• Ensure the below two bullet points and all corresponding points are maintained.
• Scheduling
  1. Using JDE, schedule production of all full goods to ensure the highest efficiency possible and to fulfill customer order requirements.
  2. Track progress of production and review factors which affect schedules. Works with Operations Manager and production staff to maximize production schedules.
  3. Monitor and ensure that all strategic inventory goals are met and monitor production progress to the forecast.
  4. Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production lines are able to maximize efficiencies and minimize downtime, based off of coordination with production staff and scheduling of the lines. 
• Purchasing
  1. Using JDE, purchase materials needed for the use of production by issuing Pos.
  2. Track, follow-up and receive materials into JDE.
  3. Effectively communicate with corporate procurement team, vendors and plant personnel any issues regarding raw materials.
  4. Support Inventory Control Specialist as needed to ensure materials are put away and organized for production and counted to update JDE as the system of record.
