Cytotechnologist Opportunity
A leading academic medical center in Southern Arizona is seeking a Cytotechnologist to join a high-performing laboratory team at a state-of-the-art hospital facility. This role offers a dynamic mix of Rapid On-Site Evaluation (ROSE), digital cytology, and education. Position Highlights:
Perform ROSE/adequacy assessments across multiple procedural areas including EBUS, ENB, and robotic-assisted procedures
Screen GYN, NGYN, and FNA specimens using both conventional and digital cytology platforms (including Hologic digital imaging)
Teach and mentor residents as part of a collaborative academic environment
Enjoy cutting-edge tools and a supportive lab culture focused on precision diagnostics
Qualifications:
Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited cytotechnology program
ASCP certification (or eligible)
Bachelors degree required (if certified post-1994)
Strong documentation, quality control, and communication skills
ThinPrep certification preferred
