Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced Medical Assistant located in Crawfordville, FL. The medical assistant will perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient operation of the medical facility. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting healthcare providers during patient examinations, preparing patients for tests and procedures, updating patient medication list if needed,recording patient vitals, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Qualifications Proficiency in Medical Assisting and Medical Terminology Experience in working within a Medical Office and managing Medical Records Strong skills in providing direct Patient Care with attention to detail and empathy and compassion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures in a healthcare setting Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is preferred Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is an advantage
