Responsibilities include general practice management, maximization of revenue opportunities, building practice volumes, as well as improving efficiency in all clinic-based workflows to meet demand and standards of the Physician Division at LMH Health.
The Practice Manager is responsible for building strong relationships with the physicians and staff in order to ensure smooth operations.
This position assists in the strategic planning and evaluation of the operational performance of practices, quality of care and delivery, and collaboration with other health care providers and their respective staff within the organization, as well as relationships with outside practices.**ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*** Builds and maintains positive working relationships with physicians and staff in the practice.* Recruits, hires, supervises staff as assigned, and helps staff develop performance goals and objectives.* Coordinates job assignments to maintain appropriate coverage at all times.* Monitors appointments, patient flow, and appropriate staffing needs in relation to clinic volume.* Monthly production and accounting report out in relation to provider productivity and expenses/supplies provided on income statement and related reports.* Work closely with Clinical Manager on consumerism tactics, process improvement and protocol implementation.* Serve as an ambassador for patient experience in order to provide exceptional care.* Ensures compliance with regulations and with clinic standards of quality patient care.* Assists in the creation, revision, and implementation of support systems, budgets, policies and procedures.* Identifies and resolves operational problems.* Reviews and updates payroll time sheets and associated reports.* Processes accounts payable in a timely manner.* Works with the CBO and Patient Accounts to ensure successful billing processes.* Provides data for financial statistical purposes, including reviewing invoices and statements.* Collects data and prepares reports as requested.* Monitors inventory and purchasing of office supplies.* Ensures that the EMR is utilized effectively and that appropriate training is provided.* Performs other duties as needed or assigned.* Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position**JOB QUALIFICATIONS*****Required***:* Two years of experience in a large multi-specialty practice or practices with multiple locations, or related experience.* Prior supervisory or managerial experience* Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or 5 years management experience
