Avant Tech is looking for a dedicated and skilled
CT Scan - Diagnostic Radiologic Technician
to join our esteemed healthcare team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging examinations using computed tomography (CT) technology, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in providing high‑quality patient care and ensuring the accuracy of imaging results.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and analyze CT scans across various anatomical regions to provide accurate diagnostic images.
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, utilizing appropriate protocols.
Maintain and operate advanced CT imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality control.
Document and report findings accurately into the electronic health record system, collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, including infection control procedures.
Participate in continuing education and training to stay updated with advancements in imaging technology.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a specialty in CT ( ARRT (CT) or (MR) certification required for CT and MRI roles )
State radiologic technologist license, as applicable.
Minimum 1‑3 years of experience in CT imaging preferred.
Strong technical skills coupled with a patient‑centered approach to care.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
References: 3 total references, at least 2 from previous employer
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with advanced CT technologies, including multi‑slice and 3D imaging.
BLS certification ( AHA Preferred )
Knowledge of electronic health record systems.

M-F 8-4:30 pm shifts
