**CORE JOB SUMMARY** The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) delivers medical care to a wide variety of patients. The APRN is also examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals. Ensures proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. May prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests. 2 years of relevant experience is preferable.**Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:**Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions. Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.The GYN Oncology Inpatient APRN provides advanced nursing care to hospitalized patients with gynecologic cancers. The role involves direct clinical management, coordination of care, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The APRN acts as a provider for daily patient care, including admissions, assessments, treatment plans, and discharges.Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.Collaborate with nursing staff and provide clinical guidance and education. Performs other duties as assigned. **Department Requirements:**Excellent Verbal and written skills in English. One year experience as an APRN, preferably in OB/GYN or oncology.
