Suffolk,VA - USA**Position Requirements**We are seeking a Chief Anesthesiologist with a strong clinical background in Anesthesiology, and proven leadership experience for Harbour View Medical Center opening in May 2025. This is a chance to join the group day one and help build a strong, collegial team of Anesthesiologist.Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center is a brand-new state-of-the-art facility opening in May 2025 and will adjoin the existing Bon Secours Health Center at Harbour View.Anesthesiologist joining the team will have a great work/life balance and be providing anesthesia services within a known and respected hospital system.*Awards** *New Facility**Case Assignments* Ortho, General, Urology, Plastics, ENT, Vascular, and GYN.*Shifts*Two weeks on one week off: Schedule provides 17 weeks off per year.
**Team***Leadership*Clavio Ascari, Clinical VP*Team Highlights***Requirements***Responsibilities** Direct and coordinate activities in the Anesthesia Department* Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures* Pre-anesthesia assessment* Obtains and/or verifies patient consent* Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia* Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition* Performance of clinical intervention as needed*Requirements** M.D./D.O.
