RWJBarnabas Health is seeking board certified or board eligible Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians for Per Diem employment at The Bristol Myers Squibb Children's Hospital (BMSCH) / Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) in New Brunswick. The Emergency Department is staffed 24/7 with board-certified pediatric emergency physicians and pediatricians; and is equipped to treat a wide range of pediatric medical problems for patients from infancy through age 20. BMSCH/RWJUH is a Level 1 Trauma Center and the first Pediatric Trauma Center in the state, and is a major teaching affiliate of the medical school. RWJBarnabas Health offers competitive compensation and malpractice insurance for all per diem hires.

Responsibilities Per diem pediatric emergency physician duties include providing emergency care to pediatric patients from infancy to age 20 in a Level 1 trauma center setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to a teaching hospital environment.

Qualifications

BE/BC in Pediatric Emergency Medicine

New Jersey licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ

Experienced physicians and new graduates are encouraged to apply

Compensation The anticipated pay for this position if hired to work is $175/hr.

The compensation offered to the selected candidate will depend on factors including educational background, skills, and professional experience.
