About the Program and Assistant Vice President of Case Management Position:
Our Home Study and Post Release Services (HS/PRS) program is dedicated to making a significant impact on the lives of unaccompanied children aged 0 - 17 1/2. Referred through shelters or trust foster care providers, these children rely on our continuous support throughout their journey from the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) to their parents or sponsors. We can guide and empower these children and sponsors through an unfamiliar system, which makes a great difference. Cayuga Centers seeks a dedicated and highly organized leader for the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Case Management position in the HS/PRS program. As the AVP of Case Management, responsibilities will include serving as a secondary liaison with ORR and supervising Regional Directors of Case Management across the multiple hub locations. The AVP will also audit the quality of the Case Management processes and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with ORR state guidelines, and high-quality services for all minors and their families. Train, supervise, and lead the Regional Directors and Case Management Teams Oversee new hire orientation Submit agency reports as required Provide overarching oversight of Case Management services Work with Regional Directors and CQI to ensure all services provided to each minor and their family are properly documented in each case file and UC Portal Manage daily operations of Regional Directors and Case Managers Respond to case/staff crises during office hours and non-office hours Provide weekly supervision to Regional Directors Provide guidance and consultation on complex cases Required Experience as Assistant Vice President of Case Management:
Master's degree in the behavioral sciences, human services, or social services fields Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science plus 5 years of progressive employment experience that demonstrates supervisory and case management experience Experience with a social services or childcare agency, or organization Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills All agency documents and record are in English, so English writing proficiency is required The position itself requires Spanish speaking, writing, and reading proficiency Driver's license - required. Driver's license in state of residence - preferred Ability to travel to other agency locations as needed Physical Requirements of Assistant Vice President of Case Management:
Computer work requires sitting at a desk for long periods of time Time on your feet for up to several hours a day Lifting up to 50 pounds Time driving and/or taking public transportation to conduct client and family services Schedule: Exempt
