As a member of the Development team, the Director will lead stewardship of current corporate sponsorships and corporate foundation grants as well as identify and secure new partnership funding to drive student impact through national service.**Job Description****Responsibilities****Corporate Partners & Corporate Foundations Leadership – 20%*** Build upon CYD’s corporate and corporate foundations partnerships strategy to annually raise $750,000 from the portfolio.* Position the site as a premier educational equity leader in Dallas by strengthening brand awareness in the Dallas community.* Collaborate with the Managing Director of Development to create strategies to increase corporate funding by identifying and securing new corporate and corporate foundation supporters, leveraging existing relationships, and increasing multi-year commitments.* Support all corporate and corporate foundation giving efforts, including Team Sponsors, Program Sponsors, event and civic engagement sponsorships, corporate foundation giving, cause marketing, and general corporate support.* Represent City Year at external and partner at functions to establish and deepen potential and current donor relationships.**Corporate Partners & Corporate Foundations Portfolio Management– 75%*** Hold an active portfolio of approximately 80 corporate and corporate foundation partners, initiating a minimum of 3 meaningful touchpoints a week including in person meetings, phone/video calls, and/or emails to strengthen relationships, solicit dollars, and steward gifts.* Actively manage and ensure accurate record keeping for the corporate and foundations pipeline in Salesforce CRM.* Stewarding & sustaining existing partnerships (half)
+ Engage, steward, and renew an existing portfolio of local corporate and corporate foundation partners overseeing engagement strategy of all existing Team ($100k) and Program ($25k+) Sponsorships.
+ Partner with National Corporate Development team to locally steward national partnerships.
+ Oversee all aspects of partner engagement including partnership pitch meetings, engagement with school partners and AmeriCorps members, social media activations, etc.
+ Partner with national grant writing point to create and execute on annual renewal and reporting calendar.
+ Collaborate with Learning and Evaluation team to maintain accurate Impact data for grant reporting.
+ Collaborate with school teams to oversee corporate volunteer opportunities and beautification service projects.
+ Ensure timely submission of renewal proposals and impact reports.* Building new & re-engaging lapsed partnerships(half)
+ Identify, engage, and cultivate a pipeline of new corporate and corporate foundation prospects that can make annual and multi-year investments at the $25,000+ level with an emphasis on the $100,000 Team Sponsor level and on diversifying City Year’s support in key sectors.
+ Create and adapt a variety of potential partnership opportunities, including benefits and engagement concepts that align with our program and goals.
+ Create tailored proposals and leverage senior leadership, the Advisory Board, and external champions to identify, connect with, and secure new mutually beneficial partnerships.
+ Partner with national grant writing point to craft and submit corporate foundation proposals.**Whole Site Engagement – 5%*** Participate in and collaborate on organizational initiatives such as site community building activities, AmeriCorps member recruitment interviews, Red Jacket Ceremony and MLK Day.**Benefits**Full-time employees will be eligible for all benefits including vacation, sick days and organization holidays.
