Entry Rate: $38.77+ per hour, depending on experience
Benefits Eligible: No
Shift Details: PRN, no guaranteed hours
Qualifications
Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) – success in one registry pertinent to the department beyond physics (options: OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, pediatric, vascular)
Health Services/BCLS – Basic Life Support (certification for healthcare providers)
Preferred Qualifications
1 or more years of experience
Physical Requirements
Must see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
Must communicate verbally with patient care providers, patients, and visitors; hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, especially during emergencies.
Manual dexterity required to manipulate complex equipment; frequent computer use and typing.
Must lift and move weights, bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment, including heavy items.
Must walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients; push/pull gurneys and equipment, navigate crowded rooms.
May be required to stand for extended periods.
