Our established practice offers comprehensive services in advanced Cardiology and Internal Medicine cases. You will manage complex diagnostics and treatments supported by modern technology and dedicated staff, and will have access to specialty consultation to collaborate on challenging cases, sharpening your diagnostic and surgical skills while ensuring the best outcomes for patients. Your Impact as a Medical Lead Veterinarian
Lead and Mentor Your DVM Team: manage all associate veterinarians, conduct regular performance discussions, coach on development goals, and foster teamwork and retention.
Role Model Medical Excellence: set the example for high quality medicine, client service, and efficiency, while practicing and achieving production goals.
Drive Hospital Performance: partner with Practice Manager to develop annual operating plan, manage financial performance toward an EBITDA goal, and ensure compliance with medical and DEA regulations.
Foster a Culture of Growth: lead monthly doctor meetings, supervise externship and mentorship programs, and champion recruitment.
Be an Ambassador: serve as an ambassador for the hospital and Mission Pet Health at community events, schools, and universities.
What You'll Bring To The Team
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and a valid state license in good standing.
A minimum of 2 years of practical clinical experience.
A servant leadership mentality with a commitment to our core values and the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
An understanding of (or willingness to learn) the financial and operating management of a hospital.
Intermediate computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, etc.).
Enthusiasm and a desire to be part of a progressive, growth-oriented culture.
