Consultant at Radley James | Trading, Technology and Infrastructure | Connecting Global Talent with Exceptional Financial Institutions One of our clients in the HFT space is looking for a Trade Operations Engineer to manage their trading production environment and support Portfolio Managers and Traders across a variety of asset classes. This is a junior-mid level / associate position and is an excellent opportunity for someone with either a few years working in Investment Banking, Hedge Funds or Prop Trading that is looking to move into a fully remote setup.
$100,000 - $120,000 Base Salary + Performance Based Bonuses
Who you are -
Experience in Trade ops, Monitoring, or support roles within trading / finance
Skilled with Linux Shell, Bash or Powershell
Skilled with Git Workflows
Understanding of networking
Exposure to Grafana dashboards
Understanding of Python
Solid documentation skills and highly organised
Thrive in fast past environments and has a keen interest in trading
What you'll do -
Operate in a Linux based trading environment, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining complex trading systems built on Linux
Build and monitor Grafana dashboards
Assist in scripting and automation in Python
Collaborate closely with PMs and Traders to ensure system reliability
Act as a primary contact with exchanges and brokers, managing operational requests and communication
Use Bash and SSH for server access and operational tasks
