The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with New York City Health + Hospitals is seeking a Pediatric Physiatrist in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. This is a Part‑time position (32 hours per week). We also offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai for the right candidate commensurate with their credentials, experience, and qualifications.
Requirements
Candidates must be Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Must have a Pediatric Rehabilitation Fellowship.
A current, active and unrestricted Medical Doctorate (MD) or Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) license to practice in NY and current DEA license is required.
Responsibilities and Expectations
The candidate will be responsible for running the outpatient pediatric rehabilitation clinic, pediatric brace clinic and administer Botox injections.
The applicant will perform inpatient consultations and oversee adult bedside consultations as needed.
The candidate will work typically at Elmhurst Hospital Center (3 days) and will also handle pediatric clinics at Queens Hospital Center (1 day).
