Position Overview
Westchester Medical Center, in Valhalla, NY, the flagship of Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) is seeking a non‑invasive cardiologist to join its full‑time faculty in the Department of Cardiology.
The Department of Cardiology is part of the Westchester Heart and Vascular Institute, which offers a wide range of cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and vascular surgery services to patients of all ages. Our specialists deliver comprehensive cardiac care; cardiac diagnostic services, vascular diagnostic services, heart failure services, catheter‑based cardiac interventions, surgical treatment, vascular surgery, electrophysiology, and peripheral vascular interventions.
An academic appointment at New York Medical College School of Medicine is available commensurate with the candidate’s academic background and participation in education and research.
Qualifications
Active New York State Medical License and/or eligibility to obtain
Additional training and expertise in non‑invasive cardiac imaging will be considered a plus
Completion of an accredited fellowship training in cardiology
Board Certified/Board Eligible
Strong academic interests
Excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills
