Crouse Health Hospital, Syracuse, NY. Position Requirements
Anesthesiologist opportunity in Syracuse, NY. Crouse Hospital is located in Syracuse, New York, and offers a variety of cases across the main hospital and three ASC sites within a one‑block radius. The anesthesia environment is collegial with supportive relationships among surgeons, OR staff, an excellent anesthesia tech support team, and a Pre‑Op Testing Center. No open‑heart surgeries. Case Assignments
General, GYN, Bariatrics, Robotics, Ortho, Spine, Crani’s, Thoracic, Vascular, Urology/Renal, ENT, Eyes, Plastics, Podiatry, Endo, EP/Cath Lab, Healthy Peds. Team Leadership
Chief Anesthesiologist: Venkatarao Kamani. Staff work in a care‑team model. Responsibilities
Assist in directing and coordinating anesthesia department activities. Medical management of patients rendered unconscious for surgery and other procedures. Pre‑anesthesia assessment, obtaining/verifying patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks. Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitoring patient physiological condition. Performing clinical interventions as needed. Requirements
M.D./D.O. from an accredited College of Medicine. ECFMG and FLEX certification. Completion of approved residency in anesthesia. Current physician license. CRNA’s encouraged to work to full scope including regional anesthesia. Lifestyle
