Job Title: Harvest and Wash Lead
About Us Little Saint Farm is a regenerative vegetable and cut flower farm in Healdsburg, California. Since 2020, we have transformed three acres of former vineyard into a diverse and vibrant farm ecosystem. Our farm supplies produce and flowers to the local plant-based restaurant, Little Saint, as well as other restaurants, CSA members, and farmer’s markets in Healdsburg. We prioritize ecological practices to enhance soil health and promote regional biodiversity.
Position Overview We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable Harvest and Wash Lead to join our team for the 2026 season. The Harvest and Wash Lead reports to the Vegetable Production Manager. While this position will be responsible for leading the crew in the field with harvest tasks as well as coordinating packing orders and potentially leading the crew in the wash and pack process, you will be involved in every stage of the farming process. This is a full-time, hands‑on role that requires the ability to execute physically demanding tasks that include but are not limited to:
Field preparation and bed management
Transplanting, weeding, and crop maintenance
Light construction and irrigation projects
Support at our farmer’s market stalls and farm stand as needed
Delivery of orders to the restaurant and other clients
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications The ideal candidate is:
Able to work in a fast‑paced environment with an enthusiastic and positive attitude
Comfortable with leadership
Good with time management and organizational skills
Reliable, self‑motivated, and a strong communicator
A quick learner who adapts easily to different tasks
A proactive team player who enjoys collaboration and working towards shared goals
Requirements
2+ years of farming or farm related experience
1+ year of leadership experience
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record for using farm vehicles to make deliveries
Ability to lead a full‑time and seasonal crew of up to 6 people in:
Harvest
Wash
Packing Orders
Ability to keep track of flow of produce to different distribution sites
Organized in record keeping
Ability to report to work on time on a daily basis and reliable transportation
Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying climates and conditions
Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks
Manual dexterity for tasks such as reaching, grasping, holding and handling items
Ability to perform repetitive motions with fingers, wrists, elbows, and shoulders
Ability to stand, sit, climb, bend and squat for extended periods of time
Comfortably use ladders, power tools, and heavy equipment
Eligibility to work in the U.S
Must have full time availability Monday-Friday with flexibility for occasional weekends
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay range is $24.00 per hour
