— Critical Care Float Pool RN at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This is a full-time position with 12-hour night shifts. The Critical Care Float Pool is a dynamic team of nurses who help meet the staffing needs across Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach campuses, including all critical care and telemetry units. Our Critical Care Float Pool works interchangeably in all critical care, emergency, and telemetry care areas. Unit Descriptions
Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU)
— a highly dynamic 27-bed unit specializing in cardiac critical care, including CABG, sepsis, DKA, VATS, STEMI, GI bleeds, and CHF patients. Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
— a fast-paced 20-bed unit focused on neuro and trauma care, including management of neurocritical conditions such as TBI, strokes, spinal injuries, and post-surgical/trauma care. Laguna Beach ICU
— a 4-bed unit caring for moderate acuity patients with a wide variety of critical conditions. Definitive Stepdown Unit (DSU)
— a fast-paced 15-bed critical care stepdown unit treating all adult patients requiring close monitoring, with a focus on CABG and TAVR patients. Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License Upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 1 year nursing experience. Why Join Providence?
