Little Ruby’s Café is bringing its iconic Australian-inspired café culture to Dallas — and we’re looking for an experienced, high-energy
Assistant General Manager (AGM)
to help lead our newest location.
As AGM, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations, driving guest satisfaction, developing strong teams, and helping bring the warm, vibrant Ruby’s hospitality experience to life. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-loved and expanding brand as part of a major new opening.
What You’ll Do
Support the General Manager in all daily front-of-house operations
Lead, train, and develop FOH teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Uphold service standards, brand culture, and operational excellence
Manage scheduling, floor plans, guest flow, and shift execution
Monitor service quality, guest feedback, and ensure timely issue resolution
Maintain compliance with company policies, food safety, alcohol service, and health codes
Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
Help manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls
Participate in pre-opening setup, staff training, and opening processes
Contribute to a positive, professional, energetic workplace culture
What We’re Looking For
2–3 years of hospitality management or supervisory experience in a
high-volume
setting
Strong leadership abilities with a passion for coaching and team development
A guest-first mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
Comfortable with technology, POS systems, scheduling tools, and reporting
Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability — including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
