Position Summary
Responsibilities include reviewing, verifying and updating patient demographic and insurance information, resolving registration-related edits and acting as a liaison between clinics and patients.
Essential Functions Access scheduled appointments through work queues to review and correct registration-related issues. Interact with patients in person, on phone and in email communication. Review, confirm and update demographic and insurance information with patients. Direct all patients seeking financial assistance to the Financial Coordinators. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patient matters and secure all patient information. Assist internal customers in tasks necessary to ensure complete patient satisfaction and revenue assurance. Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or GED completion required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently.
Medical Terminology and Accounts Receivable background helpful.
