Quality Engineer III
Ensure company compliance with customer and internal quality requirements in a high reliability manufacturing environment. Drive supplier related quality initiatives and lead supplier development efforts. Track and assess quality performance metrics and facilitate root cause analysis investigations. Facilitate process improvements utilizing Lean/Six Sigma techniques. Instill a quality culture throughout the operational processes.

Our Facility in Carson, CA is our Engineered Products Group location, which houses our Human Machine Interface, Motion Control Device, Radiofrequency Departments.
Job Summary
Plan and direct development, application and maintenance of quality systems and procedures
Perform trend/performance analyses and initiates root cause investigations
Ensure compliance with program/project quality requirements
Develop and implement inspection and test methods, techniques, equipment and facilities
Drive supplier-related quality initiatives and lead supplier development efforts
Act as primary company interface with both suppliers and customers for quality-related issues
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience working in a high reliability / aerospace products environment
Knowledge of electromechanical products
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a timely and efficient manner
Excellent communications skills with all levels of employees and management
Be able to write and review FAI reports in accordance with AS9102
Demonstrated knowledge and analytical skills for most types of inspection tools
Able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and mechanical drawings including knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Ability to develop quality standards, procedures and train personnel in their use
Familiarity with industry quality management standards such as AS9100/ISO 9001 and technical standards such as J-STD-001/IPC-610
Advanced computer skills required
Knowledge of statistical methods and their application
Trained in Lean/ and Six Sigma tools and processes
Required Experience and Education
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
Quality engineering experience
10-15 years professional experience in a manufacturing environment
Licenses, Certifications, etc.
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred
Six Sigma/Lean Green Belt certification
Depending on the candidate's skills, qualifications and experience, they will be hired into an entry (I) level, intermediate (II) level or expert (III) level job and pay scale.
Base Compensation: USD 91,000.00 - 120,000.00
