Provider Services: Full‑time • 1st shift • Monday‑Friday 8am‑5pm • Daytona Beach (Volusia County). Office hours flexible, outpatient only. Calls limited and by telephone only.
Summary Florida Health Care Plans, a large multi‑specialty staff model HMO, is seeking a full‑time Board‑Certified/Board‑Eligible Psychiatrist to join our Daytona Beach facility. The outpatient behavioral health department focuses on mental health and substance abuse. The facility offers behavioral health, cardiology, diabetes education, endocrinology, extended hour care center, neurology, ophthalmology, pain management, primary care, rheumatology, sports medicine, X‑ray, lab, and pharmacy onsite.
Responsibilities
Conduct individual, family, and group therapy.
Work within a team‑based approach, collaborating with tenured psychiatrists, PMHNPs, LCSWs, LMHCs, crisis intervention team, intensive outreach program, and addiction services, including the Suboxone clinic.
Requirements
MD/DO degree
Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible
Current Florida license
