Overview
The Division of Hospital Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks full-time non-tenure-eligible Academic Hospitalists on the Clinician-Educator track at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include rotating on the teaching and attending directed non-teaching service, with support from experienced NPs and PAs. Opportunities exist for both day and night service. Northwestern hospitalists also have many varied opportunities to engage with medical students and residents, quality improvement projects, clinical research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and other scholarly activities.
Qualifications Qualified candidates will specialize in internal medicine and be board-certified/eligible physicians.
Compensation The expected base pay range for this position is $255,000 - $280,000. Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
