Salary: $235,000‑$400,000 The listed salary range may vary based on specialty, experience, education, and other factors.
What you’ll do as a Neurologist:
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage neurological disorders within your subspecialty, including general neurological conditions (e.g., headaches, neuropathy, seizures), movement disorders (e.g., Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, essential tremor), autoimmune neurological conditions (e.g., multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optic), neuro‑ophthalmic disorders (e.g., optic neuritis, idiopathic intracranial hypertension), acute inpatient neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, epilepsy, encephalopathy), cognitive and behavioral disorders (e.g., Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia), and neurological malignancies (e.g., brain tumors, paraneoplastic syndromes).
Create individualized treatment plans for patients, adjusting them as necessary based on progress and new developments in their conditions.
Work with other specialists, nurses, and healthcare providers to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for patients with neurological conditions.
Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and long‑term management strategies.
Qualifications you’ll need:
Graduated from an accredited Medical School
Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist
An active New York Medical License
