About Us

At Cloudflare, we are on a mission to help build a better Internet. Our global network powers millions of websites and other Internet properties for customers ranging from individual bloggers to Fortune 500 companies. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, software, or code changes, while decreasing spam and other attacks. We believe people do not fit into neat boxes. We look for curious, empathetic individuals who learn new skills and help us build an inclusive, diverse team. All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to protected status. Developer Platform

Our Developer Platform – including Cloudflare Workers, Workers AI, R2, KV, Durable Objects, and Pages – is redefining how developers build and deploy applications at scale. About the Team

The GTM Developer team is a startup within Cloudflare that drives the go‑to‑market strategy for our developer products and shapes the future of application development. We are at the forefront of a shift in how developers build, especially with the rise of AI and LLMs. What you’ll do

We are seeking an engineering leader with an entrepreneurial mindset to guide our Developer Adoption team. This role requires a former VP of Engineering, CTO, or similar leader who has built and scaled products and understands the developer journey from the inside out. You will iteratively define this role’s future, translate market signals into a strategic, evolving organization, and drive our developer GTM strategy. Provide vision and engineering leadership to redefine how Cloudflare engages the developer community in the age of AI. Lead and mentor our high‑performing team of developer advocates, educators, and community managers. Operate with “startup energy,” acting autonomously while carrying significant responsibility. Champion the developer experience by working with Product and Engineering to translate community feedback into a world‑class platform. Act as a key evangelist and storyteller, articulating a compelling vision for the future of development on Cloudflare. Cultivate a passionate, hard‑working, collaborative culture that inspires the team to innovate. Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

Proven senior engineering leadership experience (e.g., VP of Engineering, CTO) with a track record of building and scaling products and teams. An entrepreneurial spirit and “startup energy,” with a history of building things, whether in a successful venture or a passionate side project. A deep empathy for developers and an understanding of shifts around AI and LLMs. Exceptional storytelling ability with enthusiasm to inspire internal teams and the external developer community. Ability to thrive in a highly autonomous environment, comfortable with ambiguity and defining your own path. A genuine optimism and resilience to navigate challenges and lead with a can‑do attitude. Compensation

Compensation may be adjusted based on work location. For New York City, Washington, DC Metro and California (excluding Bay Area):

$260,000 – $318,000

(annual). For San Francisco Bay Area hires:

Any offer of employment may be conditioned on your authorization to receive software or technology controlled under these laws without sponsorship for an export license. Equal Opportunity
