Mexico City. What you'll do

As a Solutions Engineering (SE) Manager for the LATAM region at Cloudflare, you will lead a cross‑functional team responsible for supporting the full sales lifecycle and delivering technical excellence across our customer base. This leadership role demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong interpersonal skills to drive business growth in partnership with the Sales organization. You will manage a geographically distributed team of Solutions Engineers (SEs) located across the US and Mexico, providing coverage for all LATAM countries, and work closely with Enterprise, Mid‑Market, Public Sector Sales teams and other GTM teams including Professional Services, Customer Success and Channel. Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a high‑performing team of SEs supporting LATAM customers and prospects. Collaborate with Sales leadership and other GTM teams to develop and execute regional growth strategies. Align SE activities with Sales, Customer Success, and Product Management teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Ensure the team effectively communicates the value and technical capabilities of Cloudflare's products. Drive best practices in technical discovery, solution design, and product demonstrations. Support recruiting, onboarding, and career development of SE team members. Requirements

10+ years of experience in solutions engineering, systems architecture, or similar technical customer‑facing roles. 5+ years of leadership experience, with a track record of building, developing, and scaling technical teams. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field; MBA or master's degree is a strong plus. Deep understanding of networking, internet protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, BGP), cloud infrastructure, and security technologies. Proven success managing technical pre‑sales and full sales cycles, including industry frameworks such as MEDDPICC for discovery, solution design, and proof‑of‑concept execution. Strong operational leadership, with experience implementing scalable processes and cross‑functional best practices (Sales, Product, Customer Success). Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in dynamic environments. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus. Willingness to travel across the US, Mexico, and LATAM as needed. Experience working in SaaS, cloud, or cybersecurity companies, particularly in regional or global, matrixed environments.
