Clinical Dietitian II to join our team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital Center. This position is PRN 1-3 days a week.
Primary Duties
Conduct assessments for patients to establish diet and food guidelines.
Develop and implement an individualized plan for medical nutrition therapy in accordance with patients' medical needs, goals and objectives.
Assigned to Critical Care Units and General Medicine Floors. Work closely with Food Service team to assure conformance to diet prescriptions.
Assumes other duties and responsibilities that are appropriate to the position and area.
Qualifications
Master's degree (M.S.) in food and nutrition with approved training from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics required if completed after January 1, 2024.
5-7 years progressive clinical nutrition experience required
OR
3-4 years clinical nutrition experience along with
CDCES - Certified Diabetes Educator Certification
or
CNSC - Certified Nutrition Support Dietitian/Clinician
required.
Licensed in District of Columbia required
or eligible to apply for DC license required.
This position has a hiring range of $72,758 - $130,041.
