Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and board-certified (or board-eligible) Psychiatrist to join our mental health team in Hartford, CT. What You Bring
Educational Background:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Licensure:
Active physician license in the State of Connecticut
Certification:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
DEA Registration:
Active DEA controlled substance registration and an active Connecticut controlled substance registration
Clinical Skills: Expertise in diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders using evidence-based practices
Ability to triage clinical emergencies and implement safety protocols
Knowledge of referral processes and community mental health resources
Strong communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Regulatory Compliance: Adherence to confidentiality guidelines and reporting requirements for child abuse/neglect
Compliance with licensing, accreditation, and regulatory standards
