Position Summary The facility is seeking a
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist
to join its expanding behavioral health team in
New Haven, CT .
This full-time, permanent position offers a balanced schedule with
outpatient-focused responsibilities
and limited call coverage. The psychiatrist will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of clinicians, including nurse practitioners, therapists, and case managers, to deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health care in a supportive and collegial environment.

Essential Position Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management.
Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions using evidence-based practices.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure integrated and coordinated care.
Provide clinical guidance and consultation to behavioral health staff as needed.
Maintain thorough and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
Participate in team meetings, peer reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
Engage in continuing education and remain current on advancements in psychiatry and behavioral health.
Qualifications Education:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
Licensure & Certification:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
Experience:
Prior clinical experience preferred, but
new graduates are welcome to apply.
