Basic Job Functions:
Vulcraft/Verco Group (VVG) Process Automation is seeking a dynamic problem solver to work with a multi-disciplinary team supporting automated process controls initiatives.
In this role the teammate will be responsible for developing and implementing automated manufacturing systems using state-of-the-art technologies.
This role will spend a significant amount of time in a shop environment to develop new process control and robotic systems.
Although this position will be a part of a team, periods of self-directed work to support team goals will be commonplace.
This position will also be required to interface with external technology and integration partners to coordinate goals, progress, and results to ensure successful implementation and alignment with the overall automation strategy.
As successful automated systems are developed, the teammate will also be responsible for supporting system implementation using their gained expertise.
This position will require travel as needed for the various manufacturing locations across the US and Canada.

5 years of experience developing and/or implementing state-of-the-art technologies in automated manufacturing systems Associates and/or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications:
3 years of experience implementing robotic systems 3 years of experience developing automated welding applications Experience working successfully in a R&D environment Experience commissioning automation systems in a manufacturing environment Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
