Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic Bar/Social Room Manager to oversee daily operations of our social and bar services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of beverage management. This role involves supervising staff, managing customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. The manager will play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences while ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to industry standards. Responsibilities - Oversee daily bar and social room operations, including beverage service, ensuring high-quality customer experiences. - Supervise and train staff on food preparation, POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS), cash handling, and customer service protocols. - Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste. - Ensure and maintain cleanliness standards in all areas. - Handle shift management, scheduling staff shifts to meet business demands efficiently. - Monitor and control budgets related to beverage operations. - Lead staff training & development programs to enhance team performance and hospitality standards. - Coordinate with kitchen management for food production, catering events, banquets, or special functions. - Oversee bar operations including mixology standards, alcohol inventory, and responsible serving practices. - Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction. - Maintain a welcoming environment that promotes hospitality excellence. Requirements Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise preferred. Experience supervising staff with skills in training & development, team management, and interviewing potential team members. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment. Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory control and budgeting. Previous experience managing bars or social rooms including mixology or barista skills is preferred. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence. Ability to handle fast-paced environments such as quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining venues. Hospitality management background with experience in restaurant management or hotel operations is highly desirable.
