Overview Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to implement our human capital strategy in support of geographically dispersed clients. This is an on-site role located in Palmdale, CA with occasional travel. Responsibilities Implement Human Resources policies as a generalist, partner with business operations to ensure understanding of business needs and objectives and resolve HR issues. Serve as HR liaison for succession planning, talent management, employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, EEO, and training and development. Act as the business partner and consultant to internal client groups to build organizational capability to meet sector and strategic goals. Background and Experience Ability to drive HR initiatives from design through execution. Strong relationship building and consulting skills; able to influence direction and drive change. Ability to diagnose root causes and design solutions with appropriate resources. Proven ability to assess and design creative organizational solutions. Strong analytical skills; translate business strategy into workforce implications. Strategic thinking; see the big picture and connect the dots. Competency across HR disciplines: Compensation, Staffing/Talent Acquisition, Leadership Development, Talent Management, Organization Design/Development, Employee Relations. This requisition may be filled at either an HR Business Partner level or a Principal HR Business Partner level. Basic Qualifications HR Business Partner: Bachelor’s degree AND 2 years of Human Resources experience; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access; Ability to support multiple shifts/time zones. Principal HR Business Partner: Bachelor’s degree AND 5 years of Human Resources experience OR a Master’s degree AND 3 years of Human Resources experience; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access; Ability to support multiple shifts/time zones. Preferred Qualifications Experience prioritizing work, balancing multiple projects and deadlines. Proficiency in Workday. HR experience in Aerospace & Defense and/or manufacturing. Current and active DoD clearance. Salary ranges: Primary $75,800.00 - $113,800.00; Secondary $94,200.00 - $141,200.00. The above ranges are guidelines; base salary offers consider the job scope, candidate experience, and market conditions. Other compensation: overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, annual bonuses, Long Term Incentives; benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, holidays and PTO.
