Schedule:** Full time; primarily opening shift. Must be able to work rotating weekends and holidays. **TouchPoint, Support Services,** provides customer focused support services. As specialists, we perform services including healthcare housekeeping, management in laundry processing, patient transportation, and food service. Our dedication to quality, exceptional customer service, and unequivocal results allow us to provide the best outcomes to our clients. **As a Dining Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting in the successful operation of the food and nutrition department at an acute care hospital. The hospital serves about 440 patient meals per day and retail locations including a cafe, coffee shop, and vending operations. The supervisor is responsible for opening the kitchen, building and adjusting prep lists, managing patient meal service, cash handling, and supporting in catering prep and set up. This role is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, entry-level manager who is seeking a career avenue into the food service industry. **Supervises a team of approximately 10 hourly union associates. + Assists with running the day-to-day operation of patient meals, retail cafe, catering. + Ensures client/customer service and satisfaction with efficient cost effective management meeting and exceeding stated expectations. + including customer/patient care, retail, cafeteria, catering etc., quality improvement, sanitation, infection control and all facility-related activities. + 2 years of food service experience. + Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations. + Some knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation. + Communication skills both written and verbal and ability to communicate with management, client, customer and associate levels. + Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills. + Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet. + TouchPoint is a member of Compass Group USA_ Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
