L&T Technology Services is hiring: Digital Manufacturing consultant in Dallas

Location: Midwest / East Coast (preferably Dallas, TX / Houston, TX / Detroit, MI / Chicago or Peoria, IL / Edison, NJ) Role Overview We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead global Digital Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 and AI driven transformation initiatives. The candidate should have a minimum of ~20 years of experience across Engineering, Manufacturing IT, PLM, and MES/MOM with a proven track record of business growth, transformation delivery, and thought leadership. The candidate will be responsible for solutioning, consulting, and delivery leadership across Industry 4.0 programs, working with global customers and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Define and execute global digital manufacturing strategy integrating PLM, MES, ERP, IoT, AI, GenAI and OT ecosystems. Drive large-scale transformation programs from concept through delivery, ensuring measurable impact on corporate performance. Lead consulting engagements across PLM, MES, and Industry 4.0, from AS-IS/TO-BE design to platform selection and implementation. Own solution architecture for shop floor to top floor automation, including PLM and MES integrations with ERP and OT systems and AI / GenAI based optimization. Support pre-sales, solutioning, and estimation to win and deliver successful projects. Manage customer relationships across multiple regions and industries. Contribute to knowledge building and thought leadership within the practice. Represent the organization as a thought leader at global forums, driving influence on Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing. Shape service portfolios, alliances, and go-to-market strategies for Digital Manufacturing consulting particularly in AI / GenAI for manufacturing. Requirements Leadership in Manufacturing IT & Consulting. Proven success in scaling Digital Manufacturing businesses with AI and GEN AI adoption. Expertise in PLM, MES/MOM, ERP integration, and IT-OT convergence. Strong executive presence and customer relationship management skills. Deep expertise in PLM consulting, MES/MOM, SCADA, and OPC connectivity. Ability to work across geographies and engage with C-level stakeholders. Demonstrated contributions to Industry 4.0 and IoT transformation projects. Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP (PP, PM, MM) and discrete manufacturing processes. Strong background in consulting, delivery management, and solutioning.
