Insurance Defense Litigation Associate Attorney – $150k–$210k BASE SALARY – Chicago, IL

Responsibilities
- Manage litigation files from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions.
- Conduct depositions and appear in court for hearings and trials.
- Advise insurance carriers and insured clients on case strategy.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school; Illinois bar admission required.
- 2–7 years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience.
- Excellent writing and courtroom skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
Compensation
$150,000 – $210,000 base salary, depending on firm size and experience. Most firms offer annual bonuses, hybrid work flexibility, and comprehensive benefits.
