Job Title: Phlebotomist Job Description We are seeking dedicated phlebotomists to join our team, where you will be responsible for drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing in a doctor's office setting. Your role will involve the collection and receipt of biological specimens, entering them into the computer system, preparing samples for analytical testing, and distributing specimens to the appropriate analytical areas. You will also be responsible for performing specified analytical testing and adhering to the guidelines of the Code of Conduct. Responsibilities

  • Draw blood from patients and perform specimen processing.
  • Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.
  • Enter specimens into the computer system accurately.
  • Prepare samples for analytical testing.
  • Distribute specimens to the proper analytical area for testing.
  • Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct guidelines.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in blood draw and specimen collection.
  • Experience in laboratory and phlebotomy tasks.
  • Knowledge of specimen processing and patient care.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of prior pediatric phlebotomy experience.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • GED or High School Diploma required.
Work Environment This position is based inside a pediatric office in east Mesa, where you will work closely with physicians and medical assistants. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The environment offers room for growth and opportunities, with a career ladder. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
