- Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing support as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a welcoming environment for guests.
- Document and report any unusual occurrences, maintenance issues, or security-related incidents according to company and site guidelines.
- Assist with crowd management and/or guest inquiries during events or high-traffic periods within the hotel and resort location.
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Experience with computer or tablet use is preferred.
- Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
- A valid guard card or license is preferred.
- Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
