We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position suited for someone who excels in managing vendor communications, processing payments, and ensuring accurate invoice coding. Process and verify invoices, ensuring accurate coding and adherence to company policies. - Maintain detailed records of accounts payable transactions for auditing and reporting purposes. - Ensure compliance with government regulations and internal standards in all financial activities. - Reconcile accounts payable ledger to verify outstanding balances and discrepancies. - Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to streamline operations. *Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and payment execution. - Strong knowledge of financial principles and government regulations. - Familiarity with automated systems for accounts payable transactions. - Attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data. - We offer contract, temporary and permanent placement solutions for finance and accounting, technology, marketing and creative, legal, and administrative and customer support roles.
