UVA Health Outpatient Surgery Center is a twelve OR facility that serves a wide variety of patients. Services include Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Neuro/Pain, Urology, GYN, Plastics, ENT, Eyes, General and Robotics. Our staffing hours are Monday through Friday from 0700-1730. Locations include both Outpatient Surgery Center and Surgical Care Riverside.* the Internal Traveler Program is an opportunity for healthcare professionals to explore the boundless possibilities at UVA Health. 2,500.00 incentive bonus with first 13-week assignment. We are looking for registered nurses who are want to work with an energetic and collaborative team. Travelers working in the Operating Room must have extensive experience circulating and scrubbing in multiple surgical services. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire. Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, vibrations, humidity, cold, heat, noise, outdoor climate, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
