As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards encountered during patrols within the manufacturing and industrial location.
- Communicate clearly with team members, management, and site personnel to relay important security-related information.
- Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
- Support emergency response procedures and provide assistance during drills or actual emergency situations.
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
