Overview The MRI Staff Technologist works under the supervision of the Administrative Supervisor and/or Director, and operates a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies Selects appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware; enters and monitors patient data, transfers images from disk to PACS.

Position Details: Position Details: Location Mercy Hospital Southeast 1701 Lacey Street Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 Hours/Schedule Full-Time (40-hrs per week) Days Exciting New Incentives: Loan Repayment Assistance Program up to $20,000 Lifetime: The Imaging Loan Repayment Assistance Program provides financial support to our Mercy Imaging co-workers in a 24X7 hospital based eligible position who are in a .4 FTE and above, working 32 hours or more per pay period.
The program offers monthly payments made directly to the loan servicer up to the amount of $370 per month and up to $20,000 for a lifetime maximum.
Sign-On Bonus: $ 10,000 * Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
Experience: Has acquired experience and possesses capability as determined to be adequate for the position.
Licensure/Certifications: Obtained ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT registry or Advanced register eligible (Achieve advanced registry within 18 months of eligibility).
BLS Basic Life Support Other Skills & Knowledge: · IV Insertion · Technical skill in medical scanning, understanding of cross sectional anatomy, and 3-D knowledge.
Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: · Manipulating equipment, lifting, moving, and transporting patients.
· Continual standing or walkng.
· Adapt to stressful situations.
Preferred Education: Bachelor degree Preferred Experience: at least 1 year of relevant experience.
