Gastroenterologist Locums Job in Nebraska Ongoing Work with Great Rates ERCP and EUS Highly Preferred

Schedule & Call:
Clinic Schedule: 2 3 days per week (typically 2 half-days and 1 full day)
Call Requirements: 24-hour call (weekday and weekend) based on availability
Call Duties: Includes rounding, ED call, and scheduled/non-scheduled procedures
Call Volume: Approximately 0 2 patients per day

Clinical Details & Volume:
Patient Volume: outpatient visits/day; Procedure Volume: Up to 5 procedures per day
Procedures Required: ERCP and EUS, colon biopsy, upper/lower endoscopy with biopsy, GI bleeds, and general GI procedures
Anesthesia: Anesthesia support is used (no conscious sedation)
Admissions: Hospitalists admit all GI patients

Facility & Support
EMR: Epic
Bed Count: 90 active beds
Support Staff: 2 PA-Cs and 1 APRN
ICU Support: Intensivist is on call 24/7 for the ICU

Requirements & Credentialing:
Board Certification: Must be current ABMS Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Licensure: Permanent NE license and DEA required for payer credentialing (IMLC available)
Vaccinations: Flu shot required; COVID vaccine proof or declination form required
Credentialing Timeframe: days
Interview Process: Candidate review by CMO followed by a phone interview
