MH Resource Solutions is seeking a compassionate and experienced Bilingual Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide culturally responsive and trauma-informed case management services to youth and families in Arlington County. This role involves working closely with schools, families, and county agencies to deliver coordinated, strengths-based services to middle and high school students facing behavioral health and social challenges. Services will be provided in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities Develop individualized service plans (ISPs) for youth and their families within 30 days of referral. Provide case management and care coordination services that address emotional, behavioral, educational, and psychosocial needs. Assist families in connecting with community supports, including medical, mental health, legal, housing, and transportation services. Monitor participant progress through regular contact, site visits, and home visits, updating ISPs as needed. Educate youth and families about service benefits, fostering engagement and active participation. Advocate on behalf of youth and families to ensure equitable access to services and resources. Maintain accurate, timely documentation and case records in compliance with Medicaid, HIPAA, and County requirements. Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and inter-agency collaborations. Support youth during life transitions (e.g., school changes, graduation, reentry from treatment).

Required Qualifications Must meet Virginia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services (DBHDS) standards for

QMHP-A and/or QMHP-C certification . Fluent in

English and Spanish

(spoken and written). Minimum of

1 year

experience providing mental health services to youth and families. Familiarity with trauma-informed care, wraparound models, and culturally competent service delivery. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for community-based services. Successful completion of background checks, including fingerprinting.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field. Experience working with diverse communities, immigrant families, and/or limited English proficiency populations. Knowledge of NOVA community resources and systems (public schools, DHS, juvenile justice). Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
