Facility: This well-established hospital provides comprehensive gastroenterological services with modern facilities including three brand new endoscopy suites and skilled endoscopy teams. The facility features six ICU beds and eight IMCU beds, with anesthesia support available for conscious sedation procedures.
Opportunity: Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Job Details: • Week on/week off schedule available, 8am-5pm day shift with no call • Focus on clinic and scheduled procedures only with APC support in clinic • Preference for 1 day in clinic and 4 procedure days (flexible scheduling) • Typically performing 10-14 procedures per day with skilled endoscopy teams • ERCP and EUS not required at this facility • Procedures include upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and various therapeutic interventions • Experience with biopsies, foreign body removal, and polyp excision preferred • Inpatient census averages 28-30 MSP and 3-4 in ICU/IMCU • ACLS and BLS certifications required • Board Certification required • Day 1 orientation with EPIC support provided • Potential for multiple providers to rotate to cover 1.0 FTE • Act 10 is acceptable • 90-day estimated credentialing timeframe • Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA) is the nearest airport • Accommodations available at Sleep Inn and Hotel Mead
