provides comprehensive services including adult/pediatric medical care, health education, health assessment and screenings, gynecology, cardiology, behavioral health, substance use treatment, and adult/pediatric dental care.

Pediatric LICSW Summary: Under the general supervision of the Behavioral Health Director, the Pediatric LICSW’s function is to provide assessment, consultation, case management, and behavior health treatment to pediatric patients and parents/guardians referred by the providers. This position is responsible for providing social work/mental health services to pediatric and adolescent patients needing behavioral health support; interviews patients/clients individually, in families, or in groups to determine needed services; provider appropriate case management, counseling, referral, and follow-up services for patients; and serves as liaison between students, homes, and schools.

Schedule: Mon – Fri: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Pay Range: $83,220 to $93,850 annually

Required Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Social Work or Psychology from an accredited college or university. Massachusetts state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is required. At least 2 years post LICSW experience in pediatric social work.

Competencies: The Pediatric LICSW must have a high level of customer service and a positive approach to work with pediatric patients and parents/guardians. Projects positive attitude about the department and the health center and offers services to ensure positive experience. Ability to maintain an organized work area and work collaboratively as a member of a team. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and time management skills to effectively communicate with patients and other providers.
