$105,000 - $110,000 annually in Colorado, or the equivalent in Texas


Company Description:

Plastic Molding Technology (PMT) manufactures high precision plastic parts for automotive, telecommunications, medical device, renewable energy, and industrial customers. The primary manufacturing processes are injection molding and thermoforming. PMT has ~100 injection molding presses at its two primary manufacturing locations in El Paso, TX and Centennial, CO (a suburb of Denver). A third facility in Longmont, CO (a suburb of Denver) provides in-house repair and fabrication of tools & dies.

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile professional to join our IT team as a Cybersecurity Analyst & System Administrator. This hybrid role combines expertise in safeguarding digital assets with hands-on administration of enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will proactively defend against cyber threats while ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our IT infrastructure.

What you’ll do:

Cybersecurity Analyst Duties

  • Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify and remediate weaknesses
  • Implement and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices (NIST, ISO 27001, CMMC, ITAR)
  • Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and email security gateways
  • Perform forensic analysis and root cause investigations of security breaches
  • Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve cybersecurity documentation and organizational policies

System Administrator Duties

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
  • Manage user accounts, group policies, and access controls across enterprise systems.
  • Oversee patch management, system updates, and software deployments.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Ensure reliable backups, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity readiness.
  • Support networking infrastructure including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing/switching.
  • Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of combined experience in cybersecurity and system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server environments.
  • Experience with SIEM tools and endpoint security solutions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 cloud platforms and hybrid environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting PowerShell for automation and incident response.
  • Relevant certifications preferred: CompTIA Security+, CYSA+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, CISSP, or equivalent.
  • DELMIAWorks IQMS knowledge a plus
  • Fluent English and Spanish a plus
