Data Governance Analyst
The Data Governance Analyst provides the unique opportunity to work with a wide array of clients to solve strategic, high-impact, and exciting challenges. Our consultants collaborate with stakeholders on all aspects of data governance, data quality, and data analysis to ensure client organizations are well-positioned to access, manage, and derive insights from data to inform diplomacy and overall decision-making.
The consultant will among other responsibilities :
- Conduct research on different aspects of enterprise data governance, data management, and analytics
- Prepare summaries of research findings and background papers for policy whitepapers
- Develop templates and PowerPoint presentations
- Help design stakeholder engagement plans and engage stakeholders on relevant data policy and governance topics
- Track action items and coordinate meetings with staff and senior executives
- Draft and manage completion of data compliance and performance reports
What You Will Need:
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree
- THREE (3) years of experience working with data governance, data analysis, or data management
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks, research and analyze client data, and utilize problem-solving skills
- Experience and/or familiarity with data policy, data governance frameworks, and data quality standards
- Experience with data analysis tools, strategy development, and/or project management
- Strong communication/presentation skills and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences
- Strong consulting skills: identifying and addressing client needs, building relationships, driving initiatives forward
- Ability to support business development including RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers
- Ability to operate successfully on remote projects as well as the ability to support hybrid on-site projects in the DC metro area
The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
