Receptionist Position

We are looking for an organized and personable receptionist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth communication and attentive representation of our organization. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors with a warm and attentive demeanor, ensuring they feel welcomed.
  • Manage a multi-line phone system, efficiently handling inbound calls and directing them to the appropriate departments.
  • Operate a switchboard with 1-10 phone lines to maintain effective communication within the organization.
  • Provide accurate information to callers and resolve inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to uphold a positive image.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and communication.
  • Handle part-time receptionist duties as required, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
  • Monitor and manage incoming mail or deliveries, directing them to the appropriate recipients.
  • Support administrative tasks to contribute to the overall efficiency of the office.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role.
  • Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboards.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on being detail oriented.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accuracy and order.
  • Friendly and approachable personality with a focus on customer service.
  • Familiarity with basic office equipment and software, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to adapt to part-time hours as needed.
