Responsibilities
Review developed tools and outputs for process mapping, visualization, and data analysis.
Lead walkthroughs and guide teams to document current and future state of financial management functions, execute change management efforts related to finance transformation, support the development of financial strategies, and create and execute training materials.
Identify key stakeholders and drive organizational improvement in financial management & operations, process workflow, and roles & responsibilities.
Oversee root‑cause analysis activities, validate corrective actions, link like‑kind issues, create roadmaps, identify dependencies and risks.
Prepare audit responses, support walkthroughs, communicate with various stakeholders, and execute formal project management activities.
Research, interpret, review and communicate the impact of Federal standards, policies, and regulations on financial operations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Federal financial management & controls, reporting, budgeting, auditing, or audit readiness.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; CPA / CISA / PMP / CGFM / CDFM / CFE / LSS preferred.
Experience with FASAB, GAO, FAR, FMR, CFR, Treasury, and OMB.
Strong understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and leading financial practices.
Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements.
Initial project located in the St. Louis, MO region; daily on‑site presence required.
Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
